DON 2 rumour about Amitabh & SRK not true: Farhan Akhtar

Don Vs Don
Times

Are there plans to get Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan together for the third part of the famous film?Is the greatest coming together of past and present Bollywood in the making? Will Don past and Don present take to the screen together in the biggest face-off of two reigning superstars since Sholay (the original)?Bollywood is abuzz that Shah Rukh Khan will play Don and Amitabh Bachchan will play his nemesis-turned-mentor in a cameo either in Don — The Chase Begins Again or possibly in a third film called Don vs Don. But Shah Rukh Khan denies the rumour."No," he says to the possibility of that coming together, and refuses to comment on whether that is because talks failed or whether the idea is too tough to broach because of the much-rumoured and much-denied stand-off between him and Amitabh Bachchan.Director Farhan Akhtar, however, plays as much party to the rumour as the rest of us."Yes, I've been hearing about this rumour myself, but it is not true," Farhan says, all the while hesitant to comment on whether talks were broached but fell through, or have not yet materialised....Read More!!!Bachchan was not available for comment being tied up with upcoming wedding preparations in the family.Even as industry waits to see how, if at all, this seemingly impossible coming together happens, the question at the top of everyone's mind is — which Don will walk away winner?

Karan Johar made sure that Kareena Kapoor's presence was felt at the Ash-Abhi sangeet ceremony. Karan, who choreographed the show, planned a special grand finale where Aishwarya and Abhishek danced to the tunes of Kareena's latest item number 'It's Rocking' from Kya Love Story Hai."Karan liked the track so much that he wanted to use it as the grand finale track for the sangeet. The track, composed by Pritam, has already become very popular and Karan wanted to end the sangeet on a high note," says our source. The performance at the sangeet ceremony was conceptualised by Karan. All the songs and dance steps were selected by him and close buddies of Abhishek. "Karan was slightly sceptical before using this particular track. But the Bachchans didn't seem to mind and did a little jig to the number," reveals our source.* The track, composed by Pritam, has already become very popular and Karan wanted to end the sangeet on a high note –– A source

Choreographer Farah Khan's first project as a director, MAIN HOON NA, released in 2004 and not only was it a big commercial success, the music of the Shah Rukh-Sushmita starrer is popular even today. In fact it remains Anu Malik's last big commercial success. However, for her second project OM SHANTI OM, Farah Khan has gone in for Vishal-Shekhar. The movie that boasts of special appearances from almost the entire industry is keenly awaited and there is a lot of curiosity about the musical score of the Shah Rukh Khan, Shreyas Talpade and debutante Deepika Padukone starrer. The only significant thing known about the musical score is that apart from Vishal-Shekhar, Pyarelal (of the legendary Laxmi-Pyare 'jodi') has composed one of the songs of OM SHANTI OM. But we can tell you that there are going to be a total of seven songs in the album, and Vishal-Shekhar duo has already recorded five of them. The music of the movie, based mainly in the psychedelic 70s, is expected to have a scent of that era
